OUR WORK
38 million people in Myanmar lack access to basic healthcare. We're investing in places with the most acute needs today to make sustainable change tomorrow.
We believe that sustainable change is locally-led. By training local leaders to provide high-quality healthcare, together we can improve healthcare outcomes, create sustainability, and multiply access for even the most remote jungle communities in southeast Myanmar.

HOW WE WORK
We partner with the regional Department of Health to identify, train, and release high-quality healthcare providers into remote settings.
REAL STORIES FROM MYANMAR
The jungle communities we serve are filled with the most servant hearted people. Their stories illustrate such beauty and sacrifice for others that we can all be inspired by.
A New Purpose
Saw Tun dedicated his life to achieving his dreams—until they were shattered by conflict in his country. Now, he has found a new purpose: training young leaders to build a better future.
Determined to Learn
Growing up in a refugee camp, Saw Poe had an impossible dream. But humble and determined to learn, he has become a medical leader expanding healthcare in the jungles of southeast Myanmar—and teaching others to do the same.
Now is the Time
The future of her country is uncertain, yet Naw Zu Zae Nar’s vision is clear: “We will always need people who can take care of our community and provide healthcare in any situation. Now is the time to get an education that will improve our community.”
SUSTAINIBILITY
Reliable electricity, equipment, and infrastructure are critical to sustaining high-quality healthcare. In 2016, Earth Mission launched its Engineering Technology program to equip local leaders to provide technical support to remote healthcare settings. Students are trained to construct buildings, fix critical medical technology, build solar farms to generate electricity, repair vehicles, and more.
