From the Field
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand firm."
- Ephesians 6:13
Please pray for our Karen staff's Stand and Walk Again vision, dedicated to young individuals who have lost their legs in the war as they defended their country, families, and loved ones from the military coup. Pray for God's wisdom to develop the necessary skills and for His provision of bionic prostheses (above-knee prosthetics) and mechanical prostheses (below-knee prosthetics).
Thank you for your prayers for all of Earth Mission and the work God has given us to do.

Surgical PAs have training every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon with surgical and OBGY doctors.
Engineering Tech Program
Y1 and Y2 students built a 9-foot Geo Dome together. They learned how to build with a drawing plan, how to estimate material costs, structural strength, durability, physics, project management, and teamwork.
Y2 students also learned about electronic parts and how to measure current, voltage, and resistance with multimeter tools.
Frontline Mobile Surgical Clinic
Our frontline surgical clinic saw 228 OPD patients in August with 20 admissions to IPD. These include war trauma patients, as well as villagers and others who come for care. They performed 21 surgeries, and among these were 5 amputations both below and above the knee. Please pray for these young people whose whole lives are now changed. Pray that they can get prosthetics to help them walk.
Rain Tree Hospital Campus
We had 315 OPD patients, 20 admissions to IPD, and 8 surgery cases in August.
RTC’s Laboratory has the capability to do 20 different types of lab tests. Lab staff are teaching lab procedures to Year 3 PA students, who will have exams later this month.
Travel is still very limited due to the rainy season. Only motorcycles can travel, so it is difficult for patients and supplies to get to RTC. Pray for the roads to open soon so trucks can travel.
